Day 4 - What plants live in the rainforest? (There are 4 main types of plants ­ list them all and give examples of each)

There are many varieties of plants in a rainforest. There are four main types which are-
  • Mosses- Mosses are land plants but they do not have seeds or flowers. It belongs to the bryophytes group.
  • Ferns- Like Moss, Ferns too, don't have flowers. Unlike Moss, ferns have a vascular system made up of phloem and  xylem. They belong to the plant group of pteridophytes.
  • Flowering plants- Flowering plants are in the group of angiosperms. Flowers attract many animals which helps in the area of pollenation.
  • Conifers- Finally, Conifers belong to the group called gymnosperms.
